How to Clean Hot Tub Covers | Clean Hot Tubs

If you're looking for a safe, all natural way to clean your hot tub cover without using harmful chemicals, you have come to the right place. Here in the Pacific Northwest hot tub covers face many seasons of changing weather and during the rainy months are covered with moss, mildew and mold. In other ares of the country hot tub covers need cleaning from red dirt and clay, hard water and more. Quick 'n Brite is the solution for all these problem areas.

  1. It is best to start with a wet hot tub cover, so clean after it has rained, or use your garden hose to wet down the hot tub cover.
  2. Spray Quick 'n Brite Heavy solution (mix 2/3 c. of Quick n Brite to 1 gallon of water) onto the hot tub water or apply solution from a bucket using a stiff bristle brush.
  3. Let Quick 'n Brite cleaning solution sit on the hot tub cover for 10 minutes (or longer). Do not let solution dry on hot tub cover. As long is the surface is wet, it cannot sit "too long" (If Quick 'n Brite cleaning solution dries on your hot tub cover, it will not harm it in any way, but instead of being able to use a garden hose and easily rinse it off, you may have to gently scrub off the solution in areas)
  4. Use a stiff bristle brush to scrub hot tub cover, taking extra care around the corners of the hot tub where wear and tear shows most.
  5. Rinse hot tub cover with a garden hose.
  6. If there are certain areas where build up remains on the hot tub cover, apply Quick 'n Brite full strength with a stiff bristle brush and let sit 10 more minutes before rinsing with a garden hose.

We recommend:
Quick n Brite Paste

The 80 oz. paste makes 320 quarts of Light Solution for jobs like cleaning marble countertops or mirrors or make 53 quarts of Heavy Solution for jobs like cleaning patios or driveways.
