To clean your leather stain the first thing you want to do is check the area for colorfast and follow manufacturers specifications. Depending on the severity of the stain, how long it has been there and size of the stain there are a few different ways to approach cleaning your leather.
If you are cleaning a large area:
For example, someone spilled coffee, soda or wine on your leather couch, or it is worn from dirt and body oils. Start by mixing 3 tablespoons of Quick n Brite to 1 quart of HOT water (to help dissolve the cleaner) to make your cleaning solution. Use a dry terry cloth towel or microfiber towel to wipe up as much of liquid/stained area as possible, then spray a damp terry cloth towel with your Quick n Brite cleaning solution and begin buffing it into the leather in short 5 to 6 inch strokes until you see the stain lift. Once the stain is completely removed, use a dry terry cloth towel and buff over the area again in short 5 to 6 inch motions to pull out any remaining stain so it does not return. If you are cleaning a small stain:
If you have a crayon mark on your leather purse, or smudge on your leather wallet you can also use Quick n Brite full strength to remove stains in leather. Always check fabric first for colorfast, then apply Quick n Brite paste or liquid directly out of the container with a wet non-abrasive sponge or damp terry cloth towel.
