How to Remove Ink from Clothes | All Natural Cleaners

If you have ever found yourself with an ink stain in a work shirt, on pants or even on your couches or car seats, you know that can be a very difficult stain to remove. We have had many calls over the years from customers who have washed a ball point pen in their load of laundry and their clothing is covered with ink. Quick 'n Brite has a 100% money back guarantee to remove any set in ink stain, as long as it is not a permanent dye.

Ink Stains on clothing or fabric:*

1.) Wet your material with water.
2.) Apply Quick 'n Brite paste full strength to the ink stain using your fingertips (Quick 'n Brite is non-toxic and biodegradable, so no gloves are needed)
3.) Next, trap the cleaner in between the layers of clothing and rub the stained fabric briskly.
4.) You will see the stain start to disappear or fade immediately.
5.) Machine wash material as usual.

If the stain is not completely removed after machine washing, do not dry the clothing. Repeat steps 1-5.

*As with all cleaning products, it is best to test fabric for colorfast and follow manufacturers washing directions.

Ink Stains on Upholstery:*

1.) Use a damp terry cloth towel to apply Quick 'n Brite paste full strength to the ink stain.
2.) Briskly rub the stain back and forth in short 5 to 6 inch motions until ink stain lifts.
3.) Use a clean, dry terry cloth towel and go back over the stained area to remove any left over residue or ink color.

*As with all cleaning products, it is best to test fabric for colorfast and follow manufacturers washing directions.
