How to Clean your Barbeque Grill

Barbequing is a staple for many people during the summer time and although you may clean your grill with a stiff wire brush after cooking, it still needs a good deep cleaning once or twice throughout the year.

For regular maintenance clean your grill with a stiff wire brush shortly after cooking (while the surface is still warm) to remove any food residue and that will help prolong the life of your grill.

To give your grill a deep clean that requires taking apart various pieces of the grill. First start by disconnecting the gas and removing the propane unit. Then lift out the various layers of the grill (If you have a complicated grill, make sure to organize the pieces as you take them so you can put them back in the same order!) Get all the way down to the burners so you can clean them and make sure nothing is blocking the gas flow!

Next, using a garden hose spray down the barbeque and the grill, then using a stiff wet brush apply Quick n Brite full strength and work it around in a 5 to 6 inch circlular motion. Let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes if you are having trouble removing build up, then rinse the barbeque back off with a garden hose.

Reassemble the barbeque and you're done! Next time you grill, you can enjoy even heat and a great grill taste!
