How to Clean Hot Tub Covers | Clean Hot Tubs

If you're looking for a safe, all natural way to clean your hot tub cover without using harmful chemicals, you have come to the right place. Here in the Pacific Northwest hot tub covers face many seasons of changing weather and during the rainy months are covered with moss, mildew and mold. In other ares of the country hot tub covers need cleaning from red dirt and clay, hard water and more. Quick 'n Brite is the solution for all these problem areas.

  1. It is best to start with a wet hot tub cover, so clean after it has rained, or use your garden hose to wet down the hot tub cover.
  2. Spray Quick 'n Brite Heavy solution (mix 2/3 c. of Quick n Brite to 1 gallon of water) onto the hot tub water or apply solution from a bucket using a stiff bristle brush.
  3. Let Quick 'n Brite cleaning solution sit on the hot tub cover for 10 minutes (or longer). Do not let solution dry on hot tub cover. As long is the surface is wet, it cannot sit "too long" (If Quick 'n Brite cleaning solution dries on your hot tub cover, it will not harm it in any way, but instead of being able to use a garden hose and easily rinse it off, you may have to gently scrub off the solution in areas)
  4. Use a stiff bristle brush to scrub hot tub cover, taking extra care around the corners of the hot tub where wear and tear shows most.
  5. Rinse hot tub cover with a garden hose.
  6. If there are certain areas where build up remains on the hot tub cover, apply Quick 'n Brite full strength with a stiff bristle brush and let sit 10 more minutes before rinsing with a garden hose.

We recommend:
Quick n Brite Paste

The 80 oz. paste makes 320 quarts of Light Solution for jobs like cleaning marble countertops or mirrors or make 53 quarts of Heavy Solution for jobs like cleaning patios or driveways.

How to Clean Sprinkler Heads with Hard Water Buildup | Eco-Safe

Just like the jets in our dishwasher, spouts in the shower head and faucets in the kitchen and bathroom, hard water has a way of building up and clogging our water delivery systems causing them to run inefficiently. Many products designed on the market to remove hard water buildup are highly toxic, caustic and unsafe for the user and household surface. Quick 'n Brite is family owned and manufactured since 1952 and we proudly make products that are free from harsh chemicals, abrasives and toxins. Quick 'n Brite can be safely used without masks, gloves, or protective clothing making it a safe and logical choice for you and your family.

If you live in an area with hard water, irrigation water, or water with high mineral content you know how clogged it makes your faucets and fixtures. Sprinkler heads are no different and also clog up overtime from hard water. To clean your sprinkler heads with hard water build-up you only need a few items. Quick 'n Brite paste, a stiff bristle brush and a bucket of hot water. Remember, Quick n Brite is non-toxic and safe so it will not harm your grass or plants.

First, wet your brush with the hot water, then apply Quick 'n Brite paste full strength directly to the sprinkler head. Using short circular motions, thoroughly clean the sprinkler head and spout. Let the Quick 'n Brite sit on the sprinkler head for 5-10 minutes allowing the product to break down the hard water and calcium build up. Next, use your bucket of hot water to rinse the sprinkler head clean. Repeat if necessary. Quick n Brite is guaranteed to remove your hard water buildup allowing your sprinkler system to run more efficiently.

How to remove irrigation water from outdoor windows

Removing hard water spots from outdoor windows can be a very difficult and time consuming task. Pair that with the fact that many household cleaners are not powerful enough to remove irrigation water, well water and hard water stains and that household cleaning chore becomes even worse. Luckily, Scum Off is specially formulated to remove hard water spots with soft water conditioners. It is best to clean your windows on a cool day, or out of direct sunlight.

1. Use a garden hose to spray your outdoor window.
2. Apply Scum Off full strength onto wet window using a stiff bristle brush. Use about 1 tablespoon of Scum Off per 4 foot x 6 foot window and scrub in a small circular motion.
3. Let the product sit for 10 minutes (while it is on there the patented water softening agents are "scrubbing" to remove the hard water spots)
4. Use the wet bristle brush to quickly re-agitate the windows before rinsing them off with a garden hose. The water will sheet off with no wiping, squeegeeing or hand drying making this an easy and fast process.

Scum Off has a 100% lifetime guarantee. If this product doesn't work to your satisfaction, you can return it at any time for a full refund.
